A Grandmothers Love Poem

This is a Christian poem for a grandmothers love and I want to share it with all the grandmothers before they reach the heights above. To let them know how important they are with the love they shared with their grandchildren, for they really do care.

I am the granddaughter that truly understands a grandmother’s affection. For it is always in their heart to lead us in the right direction. They take the time to teach us the Christian way as we carefully walk with God each and every day.

A grandmother always understands what a great importance it is for one to be good. So she takes the quality time to make sure she is understood. A grandmother will set the example for us to follow so that we may never get into a whole lot of trouble.

There is nothing greater then a grandmother full of wisdom to teach us all God’s things as we carefully listen. We as children listen with our ears wide open so that we may get the true understanding of all grandmothers lessons.

It is only a grandmothers love that will take the time with a special care to teach us the thoughtfulness of our Lord for He was always there. He is there with open arms to guard us from those who want to do us harm, and without a doubt He will be alarmed.

She goes on to tell us how He gave his life so that we may be spared and that is why I am so thankful that we never have to be scared. No matter how rough the waters get in which we do not understand, He is always there to take hold of our hand.

O my grandmother full of wisdom, you spent a life time making important decisions. You always managed to come out ahead without a worry or a dread. You had no problem sleeping at night for the Lord was always there to give you sight.

You would wake up in the morning full of love ready to say your prayers to our God above. You began your day with a special joy in your heart because you knew the Lord would be there from the start.

You started your day in a special way so you could be there for us during the day. You would get all your work done early in the morning before we got out of bed, so we could have breakfast without a word said.

You would plan our day in a loving way, so you could be there to watch over us as we played. You would stay at our side and watch in a thorough way, so we did not get injured as we played.

O my special grandmother with a grandmothers love, how my heart sings for you to our God above. Let the sun shine upon your face for you have walked the earth without disgrace. You walked without shame, and with all my heart I hope I can do the same.

You have affected the lives of all those who come near to you in your loving way, and that is why you have so many friends at your side today. They love you to the point to where they will do anything in their power, for you are the women that never sours.

No matter how gloomy the day becomes, you always have a cheerful smile on your face and walk so smoothly with a warm and gentle grace. You shower people with kindness and never grow cold, O dear grandmother you have a heart of gold.

You have the grandmother’s love that is so sweet and full of cheer and you’re the kind of person I want to be near. I can spend all of my days at your side, with the hope that all the golden days will never pass by.

There is nothing greater than a grandmother with love as she teaches me the greatest gifts come from high above. She is wise enough to look out ahead as she listens to the greatest words ever said.

O my true grandmother full of love, how I do pray for you to reach the heights above. Let God bless you all your days as He guides you in all your ways. As the rain falls upon the ground and the flowers grow with beauty let the blessing come upon you as you do your duty.
